Coffee Grounds

$0.00
Sold Out

Coffee grounds are a great nitrogen source for your compost pile. Mix with browns (paper, cardboard, straw, leaves, wood chips or shavings, brown plant waste, etc.) for a balanced pile. Due to the small particle size, consider using a bulking agent (such as wood chips) to increase airflow in your pile if using mostly coffee grounds.

The coffee grounds are not bagged, you will need to bring a bag/bucket/container to transport. Please note, they may be a little wet.

C:N Ratio: The carbon to nitrogen ratio of coffee grounds is 20:1

Coffee grounds will be available directly from Compost FBX soon, thanks to donations from local coffee shops. Click the “Reserve Feedstock” button to reserve some straw for your pile and you will receive an email with pick up information. Once available, you will be able to add coffee grounds to your cart.
